I started coming to Restore and Rebalance in Dec 2014 with a lot of pain and tension in my back and leg after having a baby in Sept. Emma was fantastic! I got an appointment very quickly. Emma treated my back with hands on techniques that quickly reduced my pain. I then moved into one of the Pilates classes to maintain the improvement by strengthening my core and keeping the spine strong and mobile. I have noticed a big change in my body… I wasn’t even able to bend my knees when I started, now I have surprised myself with what I’m able to do!!!
Great overall experience – got right to the source of the problem and the treatment matched. There was a great improvement. It was fantastic, down to earth, – you came out happier.
Amazing treated by Emma 5 years ago when literally crippled after herniated disc and she got me back on my feet again. I even started running! Of course I didn’t look after myself and the back went again last summer when yet again NHS couldn’t do anything and I only got offered exercise sheet! This time a combination of hands on treatment from Emma and now Pilates with Roise I’m right back on the path to recovery again. Thanks
The best thing about Emma is that the treatment she was providing actually worked. It gave me more flexibility which meant I could stay on at work. She was very reassuring – she was confident she could get it better. I had every confidence in her, being a GP myself she instilled confidence with her knowledge. She was very friendly, caring, nice – it was always a pleasure to go. I recommend her to antenatal patients of my own.
The care I received from Restore and Rebalance was exceptional. Emma thoroughly investigated to ensure she got to the root source of my pain. I was alarmed to learn of the long term impact of mistreated or late diagnosis of my pregnancy related condition. I feel so fortunate that I found Emma. At times I was in tears with pain and Emma responded with emergency appointments. I’m not good at asking for help. Emma’s empathy and competence helped me to cope.
I started pilates in Jan 2015 having suffered back problems since Jan 2012 I love it! The classes are small enough to afford Roise time to check on us all to see if we have got it right and she provides modifications for each exercise to accommodate for everyone’s ability in the class. I leave feeling taller and less tight. The class is local and brilliant value for money.
